Liam just turned 3, & is battling an unknown condition. It is turning his body against him,& he has to fight his brain/body just to play. But he doesn't let this hold him down, he is the happiest toddler,& everyone who meets him falls in love. He just got his gtube put in December 2nd & had a lot of complications with it. March 17th he will have his first hip surgery, and will be 6-9 hours long, where they will cut the femur bone to shorten it & put it back in its socket along with reshaping/fixing everything else. He will be in the hospital for a week, & then will have the other hip done 4 weeks later.
He will have to be put in a spica cast for a minimum of 6 months. When it finally comes off he will have to relearn how to stand,& walk. The docs have been putting off this surgery since he was 18 months old, but now that they are "no longer actively pursuing a diagnosis" his ortho is finally ready to get the surgeries started. We have everything he needs for the surgery (with some help from heroes before) but one item. He really needs a spica chair. Ivy Rose Spica Chairs has given us a discount & will make his custom star trek chair for $200 with $40 shipping. Since he will be in the cast for so long & then still have to combat how to get his gtube feedings in (as he will not fit in his medical high chair in the cast) we really need some help getting Liam one of these. They are custom made for each child, and look amazing. It would be a miracle if we were able to get Liam a star trek themed one.

Any amount helps, even a dollar is one step closer.
Surgery date is march 17th, and star trek spica chair will be $240 (with shipping)
I have also included a video of Liam with Chuck, his service dog in training. He also just had his yearly haircut,(only his 2nd in his life as his hair grow)
